Industry training leader Competenz recently partnered with Buckley Systems to trial a digital literacy course designed to get workshop staff ready for Industry 4.0.
While many of our staff are highly skilled in their particular role, they were often apprehensive about approaching software outside their field of experience. Comprising of eight, two-hour sessions, the course was designed to break down barriers to learning and familiarise students with common software platforms, shortcuts and macros that would make their jobs quicker and easier. Response from the course was very positive with attendees more confident about what they were doing and ready to try out their new skills.
To celebrate the success of the program, Competenz used Buckley Systems as a case study and put together a professional four-minute video including interviews with staff who had qualified.
