The Covid-19 pandemic meant the national Maintenance Engineering Society of New Zealand (MESNZ) annual conference has been postponed until 2021. However, the easing of Covid-19 restrictions meant that the Society managed to organise a network meeting at a South Auckland engineering company where Bill Buckley was able present the annual $5000 Bill Buckley Engineering Scholarship to Kian Manilal, from Auckland to go towards his studies at Auckland University in 2021.
